This is the second Trumpeter sub kit I have built. Having learnt a few lessons about working on such large plastic models, my job with this one was made much easier.

This is not a small model. Even in 1/144 scale when completed it stands at 70.5cm / 27.75in long. As you can see from the angles in the photos, I had trouble using my usual background and had to settle for closer in tight shots.
