Scaled at 1:350, it makes a nice length for the display case. Dragon also have kits in the same scale of the Soviet "Typhoon" class and US Los-Angels class. I have these in the cupboard intending to model the ships from the movie "Hunt for Red October" (a personal favourite !).

The kit provides markings to allow you to build any one of the in service Ohio class subs. I opted to build SSBN-731 USS Alabama as the local club was having a display day with movies as the theme. In case you are not familiar, the Alabama appeared in the movie "Crimson Tide" starring Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman.
