A nice little kit, with some major assembly, decal and weathering challenges. The kit cannons just had to go, being replaced with plastic and aluminium tube. Additional detail/plumbing was added underneath to busy up the otherwise void area.

Painting for the most part was pretty easy, however those nozels (x 4) are a real patience tester. The heavily stained weathering was my first serious attempt at using pastels. The kit decals where thick and hard to handle. I trimmed as much clear carrier film as possible (both outside and inside the larger decal patterns) and this helped the settle down with some help from Micro Sol.
