Except for the addition of a pilot figure & some scratchbuilt antenna, this small project was built out-of-the-box as relaxation between more complex 1/48 builds. The 1/72 Hasegawa X-29 is a very simple kit (2 sprues), but none the less accurate. Even though it is now getting old, the kit remains an accurate representation of this Technology Demostrator aircraft (of which only two were built). Looking to give it that "something special" I decided to try an unusual pose on the stand, showing the aircraft heading for the skies.
